The AJ3: From the Court to Your Feet

The Air Jordan 3s were the shoes that forever linked designer Tinker Hatfield to the legacy of the brand, receiving triumphant applause when they dropped in 1987 (sporting the White Cement style). Like the AJ3’s predecessors, the trainers were catapulted to stardom by the sporting exploits of His Airness, who wore them while playing for the Chicago Bulls in the All-Star Weekend.

On top of this, he incorporated the now-synonymous Jumpman logo, which was styled after a 1984 image of His Airness gaining altitude to dunk a basketball.
