The Origins of Salomon Running Shoes

Salomon was founded in 1944 by François Salomon, who started out producing ski edges in a tiny workshop with the help of his wife and son, Georges. The brand continued to innovate, creating ski products, and found success and popularity.

In 2002, Saloman started to break into the footwear market by creating the XA PRO, a trail running shoe. However, the most popular shoe released by the company was the XT-6. Lots of celebrities (including Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber, and Emily Ratajkowski) have been spotted sporting the shoe, which has increased its popularity.
